Ugh. No clever title

Let's see, my subconscious decided to torture me with upsetting dreams, I couldn't wake up this morning, traffic was well and truly dire on the way to work, and today is the one-year anniversary of my being laid off from my full-time job at the Giant Software Company.

I'm hoping the rest of the day markedly improves.

If it makes you feel any better, I "unearthed" a funny little something yesterday from a stack of odds and ends... it was a business card made of actual wood ~ that breaks apart into a dagger that apparently can be used in defense against vampires.

How could I make that up?

As far as traffic, there was a fire on the bridge.

I think we should fill in the lake and build more roads, it would prevent this problem.

It's going around. Would have been my 20th wedding anniversary to someone I try not to think about. Work projects piling up and emergencies abounding. Family member in hospital for chemo-related weirdness and being transfered to very inconvenient hospital, requiring me to drive father there and back again. Head about to explode from stress.
