I've been looking forward to this picture so much! (and by the way, hello Ms. Jillian... I'm just some faithful GCS reader that stumbled across your lj). You must do a photoshoot so that the detail of the dress can be better appreciated!
We had a vampire ball once at a wine cellar in my little California country town... my partner and me were the only ones dressed up and when we arrived they were playing hip hop... we were about to run out the door but we figured after paying the cover price we should at least drink at the bar until the music was bearable... and then more spooky people showed up and we had a vampire/slayer chase through the dance floor.

You really look gorgeous, all of you!
Your dress is wonderfully balanced, the plain black fabric with the pink and black stripes, the pink ruffles (with OMG incredibly neat plaits! O_O) and as a super lovely extra the faux fur - chapeau! And you really should make photos of the ruffles at the back of your dress. I'd also love to get a more detailed look of that fantastic headdress of yours! :)
