Only mildly disappointing

Remember those insanely cute pink Fluevogs? They are not the same color in real life that they are on the website. The photo is much more saturated than the actual shoes; the shoes are a pale peach-y pink, and the ribbons are a dusty plum pink. Not my colors At All.

The black versions, however, have white trim, black ribbons, and come with a spare set of red ribbons. Plus, do you have any idea how many different types of pink ribbon I have stockpiled? Yeah. Expect a wardrobe sale very soon.




(Yes, I am now in debt. What? The Stroppy One agreed to the plan BEFORE I merrily went to the Fluevog store, it wasn't just me being completely irresponsible. I don't impulse-buy anything over $40, no matter how much I burble about things.)

I too suffer from Fluevog color disappointment! I just got the olive Libby Smith boots in the mail today. While they are gorgeous the color of the tops of the boots are not the neutral beige-y color I thought they would be. The are light dove gray. Very pretty but not at all what I expected! Now they don't match my quickly growing tea stain colored wardrobe. WOE. I do like them though....I am wondering if I can dye the gray leather to a light tan color?

That's too bad about the color! I expect that people that order them on-line are going to be greatly disappointed.

They're the same heel as on my Babycake boots. For some magical reason, the 3" Fluevog heel in the "mini" style are amazingly comfortable for me. They don't feel like I'm wearing heels at all.

I am so in the same boat of coveting. In fact, I am trying to figure out what I can do to get a few pairs this year. I never got my Borns or New Rocks, so Vogs it is!!
