When/how long are you planning to be there on Sunday? There's a Seahawks game and we're thinking we won't go down there until a while after that starts so as to avoid the worst of the traffic. And I really ought to get that skirt from you, if our paths could cross and you don't mind bringing it along. :)

Wow, that was fast, I shipped it yesterday! Isn't the fabric lovely? I love stretch moleskin sooo much. I just picked up some more in a pretty black on black Victorian damask that I am itching to make an underbust out of.

My schedule is pretty open. I only have three more Halloween orders to sew which I should be done with by next week. ;)

I've never been able to find a stretchy black and white striped fabric other than the usual t-shirt weight knit stuff. I would kill for a nice quality stretch woven stripe fabric! I do have some of the stripy fabric here from Joanns in both the satin and the cotton I could use. The cotton has a little bit of give, the satin has none. I also have that same narrow stripe sateen fabric that I use for the Voodoo Heart dresses, yet again no stretch there. I'll poke around on-line and see what else I can dig up.

I have an idea! I don't know why I didn't think of this before, but I could make my own stretch striped fabric by sewing strips of stretch sateen together. It would be more work for me but SO worth it to have a nice stretch woven fabric at hand.
