I am now well enough to take a shower and feel worn out afterward. I am well enough that I am OH MY GOD SO DONE with being sequestered on the couch, but if I get up to Do Stuff, I become very tired and woozy. Yes, [livejournal.com profile] staxxy, I know that feeling better is not the same as entirely well. I'm still going to sulk about it.

Oh! For those of you who wanted to know what the KIB balm I mentioned was: [livejournal.com profile] staxxy makes a fantastic balm named Kiss It Better that works very well on sore muscles, headaches, cramps, scrapes, burns ... look, it's a miracle in a jar, and I have a stockpile. Stax, I can't remember if you have a post explaining about it, because I am fuzzy-brained at the moment.

My vague plan for today involved possibly cutting out a skirt and doing some sewing. After my lovely, but very tiring, shower, I suspect that I need to abandon that vague plan. Maybe I can do some hand-sewing project while flopped on the Couch of Sequestering. Hmmph.

I'm sorry you're not feeling entirely well, but at least feeling marginally better is a step in the right direction?

I was wondering if it would be alright to stop by briefly and have a visit with your blackberry bushes, if they are ripe and haven't been entirely picked over. I don't need a lot, just enough for a couple of bags for the freezer...not jamming, but saving for pies, sauces and the like for the winter. And I won't bother you during your convalescence. :)

Oh sure! I haven't looked at them in about a week, but they were still laden with berries then.

get better! I'm sewing today, so I'll try to get something done so it's like you've sewn by proxy.

For a sofa activity, I would recommend doodle-stitching! embroidery is very fun to do when it's random.

I knit when I am sick. :3

Oooh, if it is possible to purchase a pot of said miracle in a jar, I'd be interested. I looked on staxxy's journal and didn't see a link or anything, but it's entirely possible I missed it if there is one... =)

Have fun sewing! I wish I had any kind of skill for sewing.

I am a firm believer that "better does not mean well" is a damn fine reason to sulk. I indulge in such sulking frequently, myself. :)

I do have a post about it but it is friends only. I will paste the details into a reply to this post in a little while.
