Thank you! And I think you should start playing with your "work attire"! :-)

I shall have to dig around the internets and see if I can find some stockings like that.
Orange rather than pink though for me.

A lot of places only have tights, which I can't wear because of the catheter bag.

I need thick strong stockings that won't get ripped by velcro straps. I know where to get plain black or brown rib knit, but something a bit more of a statement would be fun.

Love the hat, just got a black cricket players hat which I intend to decorate.

I like the setting, you look very good against the stone

www.sock-dreams.com is a fantastic resource for all of your striped stocking needs. And if they don't have the color combo you want, check www.welovecolors.com. Those are the two retailers I purchase all of my tights, stockings, and socks from.

Wonderful! Really lovely.

Alas it will be at least 2 more months before we get some reasonable weather here. I'm more than a little jealous.

Well, you would insist on living somewhere with an unreasonable climate ...

I do keep trying to move to a place with a more reasonable climate. Alas, dear husband's job keeps up here. Eventually we will be free of this dreadful heat and the evil orb.

That jacket is wonderful. I wish I could wear things like this but my chest rebels against buttons.

Mine as well.
But you my dear look wonderful a true seattlite.

From: [identity profile] cupcake-goth.livejournal.com

Thank you! If you look closely, you'll note that the jacket does not close across my chest. :-)

Thank you! The boots are my much-worn "stark" boots by JUMP. The are insanely comfortable.

Cute outfit!!! You have the perfect hair to make pigtails, I wish my hair would behave itself so I could make pigtails, too >:(

I really love the wide pink striped stockings with the narrow stripes on the skirt, it looks great.

Thank you! I'm especially fond of contrasting stripy tights with whatever skirt I'm wearing.

Pigtails are my default thing to do with my hair. It just makes my life easier.

You look lovely.

I can't wait until it gets cooler here. As much as I like my kilt I'm still not comfortable sitting in it.

Thank you!

I'm so happy the weather is finally becoming reasonable around here.

Yet another outfit of yours that I adore! ^_^
Do you make all of your clothes or find them?
I can never seem to track down anything Goth-worthy :(
(But it may just be because I live in Plano, TX *sighs and shakes fist at scorchy orb that looms near constantly year-round* >_< )

This is exactly why a recent conversation with Emmett on the distinction between Style and Fashion pivoted on you as an example.

Cuuuuute. :)

What skirt size are you? I have this black pinstripe skirt that I brought back from Beijing last year that I really love but have only worn once because I couldn't build an outfit around it. It's a little similar to your skirt in this photo, kinda Victorian with ruffles/lolita style. I was going to donate it to a thrift store, but if you want it, it's yours.

From: [identity profile] cupcake-goth.livejournal.com

Oooh! I'm a size 12/14, but even if the skirt is a smaller size, I'll still gleefully take it. I can alter it into a bustle or something.

From: [identity profile] schmi.livejournal.com

Cool. I'll be happy to see it go to someone who will actually wear it!

I live on the hill. How would you like to collect it?

From: [identity profile] cupcake-goth.livejournal.com

Hmmm. Let me look at scheduling things and figure something out. (Of course, the last-ditch sneaky plan would be to have you I/O it to my friend who works at MS, and she could hand it over to me the next time I'm at her place. But meeting up with you would be more fun!)

From: [identity profile] schmi.livejournal.com

Okay, let me know if/when you make it out here.

It might be a bit too bulky to squeeze into the I/O envelope. And there's a couple of other things that I wanted to throw in that are along similar lines.

If you think you're going to meet Elana anytime soon, I can give it to her too. She lives 2 minutes away from me.

(Btw I realized last week that you are on my flist but you weren't on my Seattle people filter, which is the one I check most often, so I never had any idea what was going on with you. I just thought you stopped posting when you moved to Facebook.)
