Look, I know I don't need any any more purses or hand bags. Honest, I do. But apparently I've hit that phase where I start idly browsing the Web for coffin-shaped purses. Which I don't need any of, because I have my fantastic one that is lined in pink taffeta, so if I feel the need to switch back to a gothy-goth coffin-shaped handbag, I HAVE ONE.

But I still covet the Bone Casket handbag from Alchemy Gothic. (clicky-link to Gorey Details!). Really, really covet.

It's perhaps odd that I don't want a coffin-shaped handbag at all, even though I admire them on others. I have a marvelous black velvet evening bag, a round pouch depending from a silver frame, with a tassel at the bottom and a silver wrist chain and a lavender taffeta lining, and it's such a perfect evening bag that I almost never use the other ones in my collection any more.

I had a coffin bag at one point (Demonia) but sold it...it was very pretty, velvet inside with a mirror even, just not too practical.
Right now I'm coveting the simple black Vivienne Westwood bowling bag with the gold orb...so classy...as well as a bag from Jean Paul Gauthier's gothic line (see my post http://lorelei-mayrose.livejournal.com/7345.html).

Ooh, quite a lovely splurge. I must say I covet it as well, although I can't think of anything in my closet I could carry it with.

Alchemy Gothic is there to taunt us.

They have a bat belt buckle I want to put on my winter coat, but it's just out of my price range. But that's the thing, Alchemy Gothic will *always* be out of my price range...lol.

It is a really awesome purse though. :D

I wouldn't mind having a coffin handbag myself. But I, like most girls have too many purses as it is. lol

Good job being spotlighted. That's how I found you. I added you as well. :3

YES YES YES. You know the owner of AG? YEsssss. I would love to cross-promote them, especially if it means I get the coffin purse I've been coveting for ages.

I know Jeff , at the last London Eadge EXPO in NYC he used my phone to call Voltaire as his did not work in the US. His wife and kids help run the AG, there all very very nice people and the whole crew that runs is are very good people. All there stuff is made by hand in one shop in england.
I will talk to tom too (He is a pal of Jeffs as well as a pal of mine) see if we can't talk to Jeff and see if something that helps you both out can't happen. You get a great deal of press, You are the famous Goth of the US. We will see I will pop them a email.

We all do that. I own 30+ pairs of shoes, but I still want other shoes that aren't THE SAME.
