The reading at Mysterious Bookshop went really well. I met a couple of absolutely adorable babybats: a boy who was about 7 or 8, and a girl who was 18. The bookshop was very nifty, and even had dug up a Goth Hits CD to play for background music. (While we were waiting to start the reading, the opening drums of "Bela Lugosi's Dead" started up, which made me instinctively think "Dance floor! Must get to dance floor!"

I am so, so bummed not to have made it. I was in the ER at Bellevue all day (not for me, I'm fine, but for my roommate.) I hope it was wonderful!
