The alarm went off at 6:45 this morning, ohgod. That is the part of traveling I don't deal well with. I have now had coffee and a muffin, but am still not feeling entirely awake.
Today's plan is fly home, say hi to the kitties, nap (oh please oh please), and then get ready for tonight's reading at the Bellevue Regional Library!
So, what did you peeps do over the weekend? Please tell me in the comments, 'cos I haven't read my FL since, erm, Friday morning. And I do want to know is going on with you folks!

Saturday and Sunday were spent writing about my boring Friday night and finishing up the F2F recap, which got so long I had to split it (ta da (http://spectralbovine.livejournal.com/171390.html)).
I also pet your book a couple times. It's very pettable.
Is the Bellevue Regional Library as cool as the Seattle Public Library? If it does not have neon yellow escalators, the answer is no.

Sunday was spent recovering from same, reading a hefty amount of fantasy fiction and being lazy by making microwave mac'n'cheese for dinner. I just couldn't face heating up the oven for real mac'n'cheese.
This morning, I've got laundry started (I know - thrilling, i'n'it?), and while I was going to start making an anime music video, I sat down at the computer to start watching source material and thought, "Eh... no." So, I'll be retreating to the
BatCavebedroom to read more library books, maybe watch a few crime shows, and perhaps make lunch later.I'll probably also be looking over the crochet pattern
archmage's wife sent me, so I can make the Cthulhu Ski Mask (http://archmage.livejournal.com/2062431.html) for my family. Even my 5 yr old son wants one! How nifty is that?

Saturday and Sunday were spent glee-ing over the new book, working on my 1925 Gatsby dress and watching Indiana Jones movies, because they are just that fun. Oh! and I made scones.

I got a check from the repo guys that I've been waiting for, for 5 months to get.
Sage got a job offer today.
Now to make the house spotless to attempt to sell it.

my family came over
Then I got hit on the head - spent all day Sunday in bed most of it sleeping.
And same with today - we have godkids, and Athena just needs to sleep, she isn't feeling well.
Eric took Aidan to the park - they give out free lunches for kids at parks all Summer long!
I am hoping to feel good enough to go to the Event tonight - I don't want poor Eric to have to handle the event alone.... but I don't know - THE MIGRAINE IS HERE......

BTW, Flickr is being aggressively unhelpful about my inquiry (with a sense that the answer to it ought to be "no, you can't do that" except they won't come out and say so) and I'm kind of pissed off about the whole thing and not inclined to do much with them at the moment. So although it's clunkier, it might work better to ask people for the links to their photos and then have someone [me] collect the info in one place to be shared.

All you need to do is create a "group" call it something associative with The Goth of Perkyness, and then everyone who wants to post pictures to Flickr just adds them to the group.
There is nothing they can say "no" to...

If you want to do this and take the risk, feel free to do so. I'm not willing to.

What you can't do is promote a business, or sell services. This would be neither. As long as there is a disclaimer with the photo's stating that it is for enjoyment and sharing by friends, family and fans... All is good!
Something I did, when I posted the set that I did already.

Also prepared the Kid absent Seattle, with your book in hand. We'll be airporting this evening, which will disallow our attendance in Bellevue. Hope to see you soon!

I also, against my better judgement, let my 13-year-old borrow my underbust corset for a LARP costume, albeit with warnings that it was an EXPENSIVE item and if she got it muddy or damaged she would not like the consequences. Drove her an hour to the LARP on Friday evening, during which time we saw a double rainbow and my iPod had a 100% winning streak; the hour drive back home alone was almost as good, musically speaking.
Then I had to drive TWO hours each way on Sunday to collect her from the friend she stayed with after the LARP. Didn't even get to see my boyfriend into the bargain. The things I do for this child!

Totally off topic but this (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=27128602) reminded me of you.
