So, crawl out of bed late late late (tho' I slept well last night), and discover that NEIL GAIMAN HAS TWITTERED ABOUT ME. About Gothic Charm School!
::insert squeaking and flailing here::
I ... words fail. Words gone. NEIL GAIMAN!
I'm going to be giddy about this all day. Hell, all weekend! Perhaps for the rest of my life!

*cheers for you*
I'm a reader of Gothic Charm-school, and have followed you, dear Lady, for ages since Gothic.net. I'm a big fan, and I only just recently discovered your LJ. I hope you do not mind that I have you friended, and the above explains hopefully why I'm here.

a) he did get a preview of the book to give quotes and stuff.
b) he actually likes *you* personally (and while I know you two aren't CLOSE or anything, if you were at a cocktail party you would each wander over to chat with the other).
silly girl. Of COURSE he is going to twitter about you and will likely be talking about you and your book in his blog as well.
that said... YAY!

When the signing line was SO long for Brian Froud the poor man had 3 people in his line. Someone was kind enough to let me go get a book signed by Neil Gaiman and get back in line. He looked so alone so we visited for a bit and he complimented my hat. Later he came by our booth and bought a hat! I was so relived he was a nice AND talented person. :0 )
