I visited the Portland Fluevog store for the first time this September and was amazed by the number of gothy styles. There was a while there in the late 90s or early 2000s, after the first Rococo shoes were done, when you couldn't find anything pointy from Fluevog... and now they have a whole run of BEAUTIFUL swordfish shoes... rather hard to choose from! I haven't bought a new pair of Fluevogs in over 15 years but I'm feeling pretty tempted now. I've heard they are made to be more comfortable these days, too.
lol. friday i ran into voltaire at malediction society here in la, he was wearing that same stlye fluevog and spent 20 minutes talking about how he managed to snag them. apparently he's such a regular at his home store they called him as soon as they came in in his size. he saw them in the catologue and the staff had a laugh over his 'needing' the lestats.
