You want to know one of the reasons I hate summer weather?

(Besides the fact that I'm a goth with an impractical wardrobe.)

SUMMER WEATHER IS A MIGRAINE TRIGGER FOR ME.

Uggggh.

Oooooooops!

(Vague recollection is that the Victorians had some method of keeping cool [it might have been dampening the scalp or brow. I've spaced it], even in their equally impractical wardrobes.)

The urn in the icon cracks me up.

Heat is a bad trigger for headaches with Diabetes too. I am combating it with copious amounts of popsicles and ice cream. :0 ) Heading for 100 today. That is just crazy pants hot for here.

I am fighting it, but it is fighting back hard. Ugh.

Yesterday was migraine hell. I need to move to the temperate rain forest & never leave.

I am especially unhappy because I don't think my body will make it through the Pride Parade on Sunday. I'm probably going to be skipping it this year.

i got a huge floppy black summer hat today to help with THE BURNING ORB ... they had some very nice and inexpensive ones on sale at ASOS.

I scored an enormous black sunhat (paper straw! Lightweight!) from H+M the other weekend, and I'm betting it's the same style of hat. I haven't decorated it yet, and I don't know if I'm going to, because the the GIGANTIC BRIM is such a statement on its own. :D

i'm in houston, texas. between heat and thunderstorms (which are dancing around our area as i type, vague lightshow and distant thunder but no rain so far here) every day is a headache inducer.

bless you and i hope that your head feels better soon.

I hear you, sugar. I do really badly in the heat (thanks, inability to thermo-regulate!), and it's a migraine trigger for me, too.

I have one of these, which I keep in the freezer, and it helps:

*hugs & cooling mist*

Me too. Heat just triggers them instantly. It sucks.

I wish I could do something to help. *****HUGGS*****
