I think I need to make some rosewater. Because Audrey II the feral rose monster in the front is blossoming at an ASTONISHING rate. Even with putting fresh blooms on the altar every day, and harvesting the overblown ones to use for rose cordial & syrup, there are a LOT of roses not being used. Plus Thea has offered me roses from her yard once they start blooming.

If I were really damn ambitious, I'd make candied roses, just so I had them to snack on. But maybe I'll make some rose-infused sugar, because that's relatively simple.

Of course you're welcome to stop by my back yard any time for roses. The place looks like a tornado hit it, because my brother does none of the yard work he's supposed to ::cries::, but the roses just keep pumping away, I'm sure.

One of my friends from the costume guild gives lessons on rose bead making. She says you can make the paste and freeze it indefinitely, even, if you're not up for beadmaking right now.

OOooh, oooh, really? Because that makes the idea of making rose beads a LOT more enticing.
