If you weren't you, who would you be?
Y'know, this question stumped me. Because (for the most part) I like being me. I can't really imagine being someone else. I can imagine me having different roles, but being someone else? That made me pause.
I think I'd like to be Siouxie Sioux. A wonderful voice, ooodles of cool, Goth Icon, and she's got a cute hubby too.
Some days, I'd like to have Martha Stewart's drive and organizational skills.
Now, if we're talking fictional, then I have a list. Either of the Crow Girls from Charles de Lint's work, Edie from War for the Oaks, Death from Sandman (yes I know that's a cliché, I don't care) ... yep, a list.
In Other News: the Sooper Sekrit Plan is moving along, whee-hee! Think wonderful thoughts for me, if you don't mind.

See, there'd be no point in you being someone else. You already are the someone else other people would want to be. And you do it so elegantly.
[random]Charles De Lint's novels were one of the three things that made me go to Canada for a year when I was 17.[/random]
(The others were the movie of Anne of Green Gables (pretty scenery!) and, er, Sting's song 'Englishman in New York'. Um. (....liked the idea of being an Englishman abroad in the Brave New World is all. Um.)
