long ago, when I was around 9 or 10, I read a fantasy book that was about a dwindling faerie tribe, and their plot to switch one of their boys for a human girl. I didn't remember much about it, but I knew the human family was from America, this all took place in Britain, and that there was scene at the end of the (now switched) baby making a fuss about eating vegetables during the boat trip home.
I couldn't remember anything else about it. Title, author, when it was published - nothing. I was almost convinced that I had imagined the whole damn thing, except for my dad remembered reading it too.
Then just a few weeks ago, on a trip to Twice Sold Tales, I picked up a fantasy novel that looked interesting - The Lastborn of Elvinwood.
Guess what?
I FOUND THE BOOK!!
*bouncebouncebounce*
I am choosing to take this as a Sign from the Universe that things will start doing what I want them to. crosses fingers
Oh, and 19 days until Japan! Wheeeeeee!
