Argh argh argh. I have no sense of balance, apparently. If I keep using the dratted Wii Fit, will my sense of balance improve? Who knows?! I certainly can tell that I rest my weight on my left foot when I twirl while dancing, that's for sure.

Now, to sit on the couch and feel uncoordinated.

After four months, my balance has improved significantly, it takes practice but it really made me aware of my center of balance.

Do yourself a favor and get Rayman's Raving Rabbids TV Party. If you have the balance board, you can play it with your butt.

I have an unrelated question. Will you guys be able to make it to the wedding?

Raving Rabbids TV Party!!!

My partner and I laughed our selves silly over that game.

My balance is lousy, but since I started physical therapy for my back, it's improved somewhat. One of the exercises they have me do -- which sounds very simple, but man, it's deceptive -- is to just stand on one foot for 2 minutes.

Try it. But stand near something that you can put your hand on if you wobble. Slowly, my balance is getting better. Verrrrrrrry slowly.

I have no direct experience with the Wii Fit (but I want to!) but you can definitely learn to improve your balance. And in fact it's one of the most important things we can improve as we age (I know! We're not aging!) and can really help with general health in the future.

So stick with it. Feel uncoordinated! It'll be worth it.

Yes! Oh dear, I could have sworn we sent off our RSVP already. But yes, we are planning on attending.
