Obligatory Weather Comment: Snow! Iiieee! Yes, I am working from home today. Hey, the Connector Bus people sent out email saying that buses would be running 60-90 minutes late, if at all. I'll get more work done at home.

So! I finally dowloaded a bunch of photos from my camera.

Goth in a tree! Goth in a tree!
Me climbing the newly-pruned apple tree in our backyard.

Oh, I swoon Oh, I swoon
Pinstripes! Pinstripes!

Tonight, I am going to finally see the spaaaaarkly vampire movie. What should I put in my coffin flask to take with me? Absinthe or rose liqueur?

I vote for rose. :)

Love the pictures!

Your parents continue to be adorable. I love the burgundy colored outfit.

Rose liquor seems more sparkly! ;-P

You look gorgeous as usual!

Yay parents!

I finally looked at some pics I took from my new small camera. I can see I still have some learning to do in regards to using it...

Definitely! One should not drink too serious of a drink when watching sparkly vampires. Besides, I like rose flavored liquors. ;)

Rose liquor.

The red dress is very striking.

Another vote for rose. I think Bella would turn up her nose at something weirdly green and licorice-y. ;)

But by that logic, I would WANT to take the absinthe, because my instinctual reaction to Bella is to try and shake some sense into her.

But [livejournal.com profile] javagoth's point about rose being more sparkly is a very compelling one. :)

Yeah, but since that's never going to happen, I figured might as well go with the spirit of the thing. What romance-besotted teenage girl doesn't love roses, after all? :P

(And for the record, I don't particularly like licorice-y things either, which I'd like to think is NOT due to a lack of sense. Although perhaps that's due to me having been introduced to raki, the Turkish anise liqueur, when I was 11 years old. *shudder*)

That outfit in the "swoony" picture is pretty much to die for.

:)

Another vote for rose, unless you can get your hands on some Parfait d'Amour in time. It's purple, which is almost as sparkly as pink, and it's about luuuuuurve. Says so right in the name.

Have I mentioned recently how delighted I am to see you wearing burgundy again?

That burgundy is GORGEOUS on you! And as for drink - roses - fits the theme and I've never much been fond of licorice anyway (more's the pity)

Goth in a treeeeeeeee! Giggly goth in a tree, even.

ooo ya! another vote for rose liquer, it's a terribly romantic movie. you look like your Mom <3 I love the burgundy swooning ensemble on you, it's ever so elegant.

Another vote for rose liqueur and the burgundy outfit.

I so want to see that movie. I already added it to my netflix queue.

That tree picture is pretty trippy. The first time I saw it I thought you were sitting.

I vote for absinthe. It's so tasty!

And I'm swooning over the pic of you in the claret outfit!

Rose liqueur, definately. Possibly mixed with champagne, to make it *actually* sparkly.

My husband wants to know if the goth in the tree was pretending to be a bat.

It's somewhat gratifying seeing someone else with a massive TV and movie DVD collection. (And do I spy with my little eye the Farscape series on the bottom row of the second shelving unit?)

Holy moley! The outfit you're wearing in the "Oh, I swoon" picture is phenomenal. Wow!

From: [identity profile] cupcake-goth.livejournal.com

Oh yes, that is the Farscape series. Which we're going to start re-watching once BSG finishes its run. (The Husband has proclaimed that there would be too much mental dissonance generated by going between BSG and Farscape. I couldn't really argue that point.)
