Things That Make Me Happy, Day the Third:

- "Oasis" by Amanda Palmer.

- The Morganville Vampire series by Rachel Cain. (I just read the most recent book last night, and I want the next book in the series RIGHT NOW PLEASE, I DO NOT WANT TO WAIT UNTIL JUNE.)

- Pop Chips, which are crunchy snack food made from potato slices that are air-popped. Very tasty.

- That even tho' I've been somewhat, er, lax about exercising, all of my jackets and skirts seem to be getting looser-fitting.

Thing That Makes Me Happy, But Also Slightly Vexed:

I have a new-to-me (hand-me-down) tablet PC for work. Yay! Now if I could just figure out why I'm having problems connecting to any intranet sites ...

I just got the first two for Christmas. Havent started them yet because Im into David Sedaris and the Stuff White People Like for the foreseeable future. If I do like them, I will get more. As we have spoken of, I have been disappointed by vampire novels before.

I read the first Morganville book and didn't like it as much. Should I give it a second shot?

Also, have you read the Blue Bloods, House of Night, or Vampire Academy series, and are they any good?

Regarding intranet connectivity: I've sent you a private e-mail. Hope it works for you, if not contact fasthelp. (I've had to do this when I get new-to-me PCs at work)

Pop Chips

I saw those in my local vending machine! I was afeared.

I just watched the Oasis vid today, and I love it. Her blog was so fantastic, I was cheering. I think I'm developing a bit of a crush, to be honest.
