Ugh

([personal profile] cupcake_goth Jan. 23rd, 2009 10:37 am)
Dear Subconscious,

Last night's constant series of dreams in which I try desperately to fall asleep, and can't? NOT OKAY. Do not repeat those. Ever.

::pokes at email, waiting for a reply to something important::

I am REALLY looking forward to going dancing tomorrow night. Getting all gothed up and going out will improve my week immensely. You there! Yes, the one reading this. If you're in Seattle, you should go to Club V tomorrow night, too.

::pokes email again, sighs::

I wanna go. *pouts* I was worried about you when they talked about MS on the news. *wishes you luck*

Ahhh! I fear clubs. I haven't been to a club . . . well . . . probably ever. Unless you count Neighbors. Then I can say I've been to a club twice. Over a decade ago.

I hate dreams like that. Makes me glad I just had old fashion insomnia last night.

Any other weekend I might have taken you up on going dancing, but the Family is descending for my Birthday and are taking me to the Melting Pot.

We need to get together soon.

I, alas, can not afford to come out tonight.

I dreamt of hanging out with a mutual friend. At one point in the dream, we kind of curled up and took a nap because we were both tired. And yet, somehow, even there I could not really sleep well. *sigh*

I feel for you, sugar.

I had my first baby worry dream.
I was stuck late at work and they wouldn't let me leave. I couldn't make any of the phones work to call Bryan to tell him to pick her up and hours had passed and I was freaking out.

I woke up and just rolled my eyes.

Hmm. Last night, I had the "There's a horrible thing pulling aside the bed curtains and coming to get me" dream. And it wasn't Phil, he was asleep on the other side. Until all my shrieking woke him up...

Maybe it's something in the air?

Wow. Lots of nightmares around.

I thought my tsunami was work-stress.

It could be "whole world" stress.

Or something in the air - aside from that stupid INVERSION LAYER that's made breathing Supper Happy Fun Time for the emphysemiac. Gnar.

You're twisting my arm here. I love it when you do that.
