So remember that post I made last week-ish about my Wall! Of! Skirts!? And how I mentioned that I had not yet gone through the wardrobe that contains all the jackets? I did that tonight. And I counted!

... um ....

I have 47 jackets. Yes, all of them are different. Subtly, in some cases, or they're variations on a theme (like the 3 different Lip Service "Bad Etiquette" jackets; 1 black & grey stripe, 1 black & white stripe, and 1 black & pink stripe), but still. Even I didn't think I had 47 jackets.

::feels a bit sheepish::

Dear Self: nope, you do not need any more jackets for a very long while. When moved to idly window-shop on eBay and Etsy, you may look for tiny hats, a full-size black wool top hat, perhaps a full-sized black tricorn, spats, and maybe a few capelets. But not jackets. No more buying jackets. Until the one you've pre-ordered from the Lip Service "Corporate Vampire" line comes in.

I'm all like -- but they're all Different and different colors and such! That said - I don't think I have 47 of them but I'm sort of afraid to count. Personal hair flowers and jewelry on the other hand...

Does that figure of 47 include all forms of jacket-objects (such as winter coats, etc) or just blazer items? Because I own at least 30-odd blazers, a count which does not include frock coats, priest coats, fall/winter coats, and tailcoats...

I would have guessed I had around 30-odd jackets/blazers. To find out it was 47 was a bit startling.
