Not only was my rock star crush object there (points at icon that e_juliana made), but Tim Burton arrived onstage via balloon.



A comment from the Coilhouse post: Why don't I travel everywhere by gothed-out hot air balloon? Why am I not accompanied by a perpetual Danny Elfman-penned soundtrack? Why am I not greeted everywhere I go by women in fanciful costumes twirling fiery ... thingies ... to say nothing of being greeted with open arms by Winona Ryder?

Man, Tim Burton is living the life.

These are questions I ask myself ALL THE TIME. (Well, not the Winona Ryder one.) I have asked myself these sorts of questions for YEARS.

Oh, and if any of you are going to be recording the Scream Awards tonight (on SpikeTV), please let me know. I really do want to see them at some point.

Oh, my word. I chased down a few links and caught the interview segments with Gerard. It looks like the break from touring is agreeing with him. And he's just baby-kittens levels of adorable there.

I may have to watch the awards show, at that.

p.s. That Jacket? Continues to get compliments EVERYWHERE I wear it. Friends, acquaintances, random strangers on the T. Clearly it has superpowers.

M is DVRing the awards for me - I know I can transfer it to VHS, but do you still have a VCR? Otherwise, I can try to figure out how the hell to to transfer it to... a laptop, I guess? Hrm.
