Why look, it's 4:12 AM.

gnnnng

I slept fine Friday night, after spending the day feeling extraordinarily well for someone who only got 3 and a half hours of sleep. I spent all day today running around w/ Kij and Weaselmum, then spent the evening drinking with them, their respective boys, The Husband, and two other lovely people. There is NO REASON why I should be wide awake now. But I am. And not just wide awake, but wide awake with a semi-racing heart, which is kind of worrying.

Heeeeere sleep. C'mere!

I, too, have been having a lot of trouble sleeping lately. Last night was the first time in about a week that I slept for even six hours without waking up, and I had a hard workout yesterday followed by a serious writing stint.

Maybe there's something in the water.

I must apologize.

I know exactly where your sleep went: It came to me. Went to sleep about 3 a.m. and just got up today (Sunday) at 4 p.m. So I had my sleep and yours.

Could it have been all the chocolate and sugar in the chocomartinis?

choco-martinis!

I hit the "reply" button in order to type exactly WM's evaluation, so I'll just clarify. Combine the following:

  • One party with friends

  • Fourteen pounds of sugar

  • Several shots of concentrated sugar (aka "alcohol")

  • Up-late gigglizing

  • Boozed-up Peev

and you get one Buzzing PMB!

Hope you're sleeping now,
Chris
