Ugh. Allergies? The Plague? Who knows?!

Why yes, I am working from home today. Thank goodness for remote connections, because I'm fully capable of editing content today, I'd just rather do it at home where I can drink endless pots of tea with honey, blow my nose approximately every two minutes, and dither about when I'm going to subject myself to using the Neti pot. Oh, and not spread the plague amongst my co-workers.

I seem to have the same ick you do. It's not like a full-on plague or anything, but it'd be awfully nice not to have to blow my nose quite so often. Emergen-C seems to be helping me.

The Neti pot, while Not Fun, seems to be helping. And I'm going to start drinking a concoction of lemon juice, lots of ginger, lots of honey, and a smidge of chili powder.

I've been craving ginger lately, maybe i should drink that concoction. Do you mix it into a cup of hot water, or down it from a spoon? Hot beverages have been helping me quite a bit.

Well, I make it in a pot because I'm at home. Lemon juice, water, a lot of ginger, a lot of honey, and a tiny bit of chili powder. Heat it up, pour it into a mug, drink. I have no exact measurements; I just kept adding things until it tasted right.

(I was going for hot ginger lemonade with a spicy kick, if that explains it any better.)
