Back, and trying to catch up

I have not looked at LJ for a week. I love you all, but Disney World trumps LJ. But I'm back, and need to catch up! So, what have I missed?

1) My boy's doing much better at school now that he's on ritalin.
2) The Doc Martens corset is done, and has been photographed by someone competent.
3) I'm having a low-key birthday pah-tay on the 19th before I paint the town red.
