The first line of the first post for each month of 2007.

January:
New Year! New Gothic Charm School Lesson! (Yes, there was no December lesson. I'm very aware of that. It was a hectic month.)

February:
Okay, which one of you gave me the plague?

March:
I suspect I spent valuable reading time doing things like writing and sewing.

April:
The interview I did with the Toronto Sun is up!

May:
(Okay, it's not THAT cryptic, but it does skirt the edges of Crossing The Streams.)

June:
Showing off my new LJ icon, from a photo taken by the ever-fabulous [livejournal.com profile] trystbat.

July:
Unbelievable, I know. But yes, I've posted another column at Gothic Charm School:

August:
Hate being on a budget. Hate, hate, hate.

September:
Ow, sinus migraines of varying intensity for four days.

October:
A reader let me know that the Philadelphia Inquirer did a nice article on Goth parents, and quoted Gothic Charm School.

November:
Thing the First: As some of you know, I have been stuck in a game of Spin the Wheel of Re-Org at work lately, which has had caused me to be sullen, unmotivated, and filled with ennui.

December:
Our basement has flooded.

Why hello thar! I was recently lamenting to a friend of mine ([livejournal.com profile] naissa) that when I move to Seattle I will probably be one of the only anachronistic weirdos roaming the streets and will therefore have no friends. She recommended I come check out your LJ and lo and behold you're also friends with another someone I know in Seattle ([livejournal.com profile] dj_stitch)! Ain't the internet small, though? Anyhow, I'm going to add you as a friend, hopefully you'll add me back, but if not, just knowing that I am not alone in my rejection of 2008 reality when I move to Seattle will be enough for me.

Hey waitaminute! Don't you post on [livejournal.com profile] egl? I lurk there, and always enjoy reading your posts. I'd be delighted to add you to my FL.

There are a small pack of us anachronistic weirdos here in Seattle; we'll absorb you into the herd, no worries. ;-)

I do! I do post to [livejournal.com profile] egl! And you're smart to lurk there, those girls are astoundingly... well, you know.

Yay! Absorbed into a herd! Will you all be chanting "ONE OF US. ONE OF US." while someone in the back screams "RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!!!"? Because that would really make the moment extra-special...
