Yes, I finally followed through on my threats and wrote the Goth vs. Emo column.

Thank you (as always) to [livejournal.com profile] staxxy for being a wonderful proofreader!

Please go read and spread the word about the new post, if you don't mind.

It looks like the links in the article aren't working . . . ? (They're underlined, but they're not active when I click on them in Firefox.)

Interesting column, thank you!

Hmmm. I went and dinked around with the links; if you get a chance, could you try clicking on them again and let me know if they work?

Oh wow, your name sounds like the word my Irish mother would yell when she wanted me to stop something

Out of curiosity, what was the word/how was it spelled? I heard something similar from an Italian friend (it meant 'be patient' or something like that), and I'm now desperately curious if there's some international word that means 'shut up' that just . . . happens . . . to sound like my name.

Do you think the Universe is trying to tell me something? ;)

I'm surprised you didn't write this sooner seeing as how Seattle is the Emo Kid capital of the world. And why yes, we loved it, yes yes we did...I wanted (even though I had a beau) to take them all home and do nefarious things to them, yep yep...all those boys looked like tortured rock stars. *smacks lips*

Now, how about a "What Is Steampunk?" article, since people are apparently really fucking confused...

a pleasure, as always.

I was amused that I just *happened* to wiggle the mouse to check for email a minute after you sent it. I hadn't been anywhere near the computer all day before that. :D
