No one has seemed too alarmed by my little gothic Victorian self. Of course, I get to introduce myself at the team meeting today, so who knows what sort of wide-eyed reception I'll get there.

It looks like I'm going to be spending my day installing programs, going to meetings, and heading off to Security to get my key card. But I've got my Scary Godmother poster up, part of my desk set is here, and I don't feel too unsettled. Later this week the tea service comes in, along with some sort of fuzzy monster.

Now I go back to watching Visual Studio.NET install. Oooh, exciting.

I don't really *know* what sort of work I'll be doing yet - editing stuff, yes, but what SORT of stuff, I haven't found out. So there. ;-)
