Well that didn't work

I could have sworn that the long full skirt I put in a dyebath today was made from a poly/cotton knit. So the white part of the b&w stripes should have absorbed color, with the end result being a pale pink & black striped long skirt.

Nope. Jacquard Acid Dye failed me. Once washed, the skirt remains black and white, not pink. Argh.

So, to distract myself from the failed dye attempt, I am resorting to cute pictures of cats. Yes, *my* cats. Use the clicky links below if you want to see them.

Oh no! I was actually planning to do the same thing with a blk/wht striped skirt I've worn a hundred times. I hope Mine is all cotton and takes the color. I'll get to it eventually!
