Supernatural is a lot of fun. I don't think I'm going to have quite the same level of OMGflail!Flail! obsession affection that some of you do *cough* I'm looking at you, [livejournal.com profile] minim_calibre, but still, entertaining and compelling.

(The comment from [livejournal.com profile] stroppy_baggage right now: "So, are you posting about Supernatural? Oh lord.")

So yeah, fun. We've watched 4 episodes so far, and I'm looking forward to the rest.

It is fun, for sure. I don't have the OMGflail reaction either, but it's a good show.

You've only watched four episodes, though. It gets better. You could still get flaily.

Oh! But watch out for "Bugs." Because there's, well, I think you can guess what sort of creature makes an appearance.

Dude, last nights was great, if a bit predictable...
minim_calibre: (Oh DEAN (Supernatural))

See, the actual flailing didn't *really* start for me until about halfway through the week, when Things Got an Arc.

And then it just didn't *stop*, and I just wanted to Feed Dean Soup, and Feed Sam Soup, and...

Well, you know the drill.

What she said. I didn't get all fangirlflaily until I had a chance to watch the complete first season, because I missed some of the arc.

SOUP! And PUPPIES!!!

And... umm...

I'll just go sit in a corner with my Winchesters now. Oh, BOYS.

Signed, has realized that, not only do I like Dean more than Buffy, I like SAMMY more than Wes. And... and...

Yeah. Hopeless. Totally and completely HOPELESS!

From: [identity profile] la-perkins.livejournal.com

Hmm. I like Deam more than anyone else except MAYBE Wes, but they are my top two, with Sammy not that far behind.

I'm pretty sure I've never been more smitten with another show before though, even Buffy or Angel. WHEN THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN?

I don't get to watch it often, due to early bedtime, but sometimes I stay up anyways, and pay for it the next day but am never sorry.

What everyone says: the beginning episodes are fun but it really hits it's stride when the arc starts coming into play.

I think that the writers had to have some time to learn to write the characters too.

Huh. I just can't get into dramatic-pouty boy-demonic-stuff. I like my supernatural stuff to be, well, Muppets. Is there any deliberate funny in Supernatural? I likes me my funny. The rest of life is too serious & scary for me to spend entertainment time on things that are serious & scary.

From: [identity profile] torreybird.livejournal.com

I guess I just like really obvious humor... which might make me simple and shallow, and I think it's time to come to terms with that.

and happy birthday, capricorn lady!

Watch the behind the scenes stuff when you get to it, there will be much laughter.

Ahem. I am sure that neither [livejournal.com profile] minim_calibre nor myself would ever poke you and say, "See? SEE?" I would go so far as to say just do not watch the "Bugs" episode at all. Those horrible... things... tend to pop onto the screen when you're least expecting it, and it was very traumatic. When we first got the Series 1 box, we watched all 22 episodes in 2 days, but I can understand that you might want to do other things too. =)

I think it's an important one to watch (Bugs, that is), but I think perhaps I should go through and tell her when exactly to look away from the THINGS.

From: [identity profile] weaselmom.livejournal.com

Maybe she could just listen to it? Because seriously, trauma out the wazoo. Or you could watch it *with* her and tell her to look away before everything happens.

Am I the only one who, in "Hunted," wished they had used the Collide version of "White Rabbit" instead of the original? How cool would that have been? I know, not buttrocky, but still--! And I think we need more Nazareth. And some Nuuuuuge.

I gotta say I didn't buy Sam drunk in "Playthings." However, it was worth it to see him flop down and snuggle into the mattress. And how charming was it that Dean didn't know what everybody meant by "antiquing"? Oh, Dean. *adores*
