Iiiiieeeee! Weather!

The lights have been flickering, which means I've made sure there are candles (and matches or lighters next to them!) scattered throughout the house, Just In Case.

Not quite as entertaining is the notion that I'm working from home tomorrow, because we need to wait for the contractor who is going to repair the leak in our roof (!!!) to turn up. I did not ask for a leaky roof. I very specifically asked for, oh, a teleportation device. Or a pink furry handbag. Not a leaky roof.

Anyway, any and all wishes for a quick and inexpensive fix to the roof problem will be gratefully accepted.

The wind just started in Interbay again, so I expect it just hit up in Greenwood, as well.

I wish I had a dog, so that when my apartment collapses and it's weeks before society rebuilds itself and comes to save me, I would have something besides shortbread to eat.
