Makes me happy too! I walked into the library today to return my books and the librarian was simply cooing over my outfit! Told her it was the one day of the year that 'we' owned. Wore red and black stripey knee socks, long patchwork fishtail shaped skirt in shades of black, grey back-buttoning Victorian blouse that has a pie crust collar and white lace insertion down the front, rubber under bust corset over skirt and blouse, Edwardian vintage elbow legnth jacket with fancy detailing and sailor collar in black velvet grosgrain, and white rabbit fur Russian style hat wore with huge diamonte oval pin at perky angle.
Oh, and final detail was huge skeleton earrings about four inches long made from rubber skeletons I'd crusted in glitter and diamonte for eyes...

Trick or treat!
I went with the all black and my cobra-headed pimp cane. And black hat with netting (so good for funerals).

I was a zombie soccer mom (redundant, I know)for Halloween and the dried blood drove me nuts, though the way it started to flake off really made it look even gorier.
