After feeling run down and unwell all week, you would think I would get to have a good weekend. Alas, not a chance. The Ick moved into the Attack of the Sinuses portion, with extra wooziness. And poor [livejournal.com profile] stroppy_baggage is also feeling unwell. There has been much flopping on the couches, staring at movies. (Or reading the new Terry Pratchett novel.)

Which means, of course, that we weren't able to go to an event we wanted to. So! Congratulations to [livejournal.com profile] kiltlad and Ginor! I hope your handfasting was wonderful.

I hate thinking of all these projects I want to work on, and not having enough energy to do them. Vexing. Beyond vexing. But I am consoling myself with slices of Sublimity cheese and an apple that I just picked from the tree in our back yard.

Oh hon, I hope you don't have what I caught last week. It was the pits.

Want to try for lunch this week?

It was quite fun

Appropriately serious, but not *solemn*. Children and dogs playing and having fun.

The sun came out when invoked - warming it substantially.

There was nice food, a stunningly pink cake, and LOTS OF BEER.

We left after a couple of hours cuz WeWa and I were wearing silk and *freeeeeezing* :)

The bride and groom were mocked gently, and worshipped. While you were both missed, you were also wished better *and* thanked for not making your handfasting gift the Plague. :)

Re: It was quite fun

The cake WAS stunning. The Ginor lamented that it "should have been burgundy." However, I think the neon fuscia adorned with flowers made the statement that we wanted. That statement being: "holy shit, this is a pink cake."

We officially **hiccup** finished the beer this afternoon. It was a difficult task, costing thousands of lives.

And J, you and Peeve were missed. Get well and come to our new place SOON for high tea! My brother gave us a fabulous gift of teas from THE tea place in Victoria, Canada. Hell, the Queen buys tea from them...

I empathize with this (albeit for different reasons). Greatly. Three and a half days entirely to myself, and I achieved *nothing* I intended to.

Hope that you are both feeling better soon.

Oh, wretched and vexing indeed! Hope you are both on the mend soon. October is too busy of a month to miss a single moment!
