Dear Self,

See, it's not that you dislike all your clothing. It's that you have hit the point of disliking the summer portion of your clothing. And you'll like those just fine in about, oh, a year or so. (Maybe. Probably.)

---

I know, I know: I've been complaining of being tired of my summer wardrobe since, what, July? I can't help it. I don't like summer. I'm bored with lace overdresses. I would like weather that allows me to wear fitted little wool jackets and fluffy skirts, and I would like it real soon now.

---

Where the heck did all these waist-length fitted wool jackets come from, anyway? Are they breeding in the back of my closet? Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to wear them (after I change the buttons on some of them), I'm just a little bemused at how many of them there are.

---

I have no motivation to do the things I should be doing today. None. If any of you happen to see my motivation, would you please point it in my direction? Thanks.

It's a sickness, I tell you. At one point I had 6 wool riding jackets, all just subtly different from each other.

I can't wait either. There are only so many things in my wardrobe I can wear and not die of heat stroke, and while I am getting sick of wearing them over and over, I don't want to encourage this by buying more. ;P

I was looking in my closet this morning and also discovered that there are things in there I vaguely remember, and can't wait to wear. I also have *a lot* of velvet jackets. I don't think I've worn half of them, and some of them, I don't even remember how they got in there. I think you might be on to something with the breeding idea, as scary as that idea may be...lol.

I *so* cannot wait for autumn!!!!!

Sun

Sun and I are mortal enemies. I'm tired of sunblock, long sleeves, heavy hats, and long pants/skirts when it is 90 degrees out! Because of my sun alergy, I am destined to be 'overdressed' no matter what! lol

I was once booed out of Sammamish Park because of my overdressed appearance a few years ago in mid July. Stupid rich people!

So, I'm right there with you! Bring us our glorious gloomy, doomy, icky, nasty weather!
