- This weekend, go through the Enormous Box O' BPAL, make a list of everything, and decide what imps and bottles to sell.

- Box up & address the parasols for [livejournal.com profile] angeldst.

- Make a new canopy for the collapsible parasol.

- Write a first draft for a new GCS lesson.

- Weed through the closets.

And if there's time after all that, cull the stacks of books.

If you have any antique lace, dana o'shee, snow moon, or any pumpkin scents, I'd be interested in them. Anything from similar families as well would be of interest.

I have 1/2 of an old-style imp (the tagged & corded type) of Dana o' Shee, and an imp of Jack.

I'm going to be posting the list soon-ish, and see who starts clamoring for what.

Cool, I'll gladly take those yummies.

I know you like the chocolatey scents- are there any that you find to be actually good? I've tried bliss, but it ends up being just sticky on me and not really chocolatey. I guess my idea of chocolate is a darker chocolate.

The absolute best chocolate scent I've found so far is BPAL's Lump of Coal. It smells EXACTLY like fresh-baked brownies.

Other than that, I've been known to mix Dragonfly Blue's chocolate truffle oil with the chocolate oil from Escentials, and then add a couple of drops of pure cocoa essential oil. Which is a long and fiddly process, but usually worth it for me.

For the imps, what would you like to do? Swap for something?

I belive stax had intended to purchase some imps from me to give you, of your favorites, but I forgot to finalize that with her. OOPS! I could swap, or buy. I might be interested in more, depending on what you have. Also, if you're culling things which would fit me or are parasols, I'd be interested in such items as well. My parasols are both broken irreparably (sp?). Sad face.

I might have 1 parasol that [livejournal.com profile] angeldst hasn't already claimed (I'm swapping for clothes!) that would work for you. I'll take a look tonight.

Send me your size info/measurements at headmistress (at) gothic-charm-school (dot) com, so I can see if anything I'm getting rid of would fit you. :)

Yep, another sale soon. I need to thin out my closets so I can spend money on new clothes that fit me. :)

YAY!! I missed the last one. I'm happy I'll be able to come to this one whenever it's held. If I have as much luck with your stuff as I do Alexia's I should come away with quite a haul. YAY!!

I was just going to post the list to my LJ and see who wanted to buy what. Is there something in particular you're looking for? :)

I need to find my list! I will let you know soon-ish. Getting ready to leave for lunch.

But I'm totally digging on the Nocturne and Midnight. (I really need to order those.)

After your sale at home (since I am so far away) are there very often items that need a home?

Poison Study and MAdame Mirabou's School of love

Two books made me recently think of you:
Poison Study is about a woman who is given the choice to be hanged or to be the next food taster. The descriptions of the taste smell and color of poisons is really cool - she is given poison so that she has to go everyday for the anitidote. Then instead of being passive - they teach her everything about poisons.

Madame Mirabou is about a woman post divorce. I did not think I could ever read it, but every chapter started with what a memory smelled like and what scents she could use to make a perfume to match the memory. It was amazing those parts where she thought about memory and made perfumes. And the ideas she had for the perfect bottles.
Nikki's Perfume Journal
Scent of Hours:
Scents: dryer sheets, faint mildews, pepperoni pizza, semen, lemons, white wine, hint of sulpher, touch of chocolate
Bottle: aquamarine cracked glass
Notes:the first night I made love to Daniel

(Then Nikki would go onto describe the elements she would used to make the perfume that would match that memory) very very cool. It made me understand so much more about the history of scents and what goes into custom perfumes.)

I assume the box o' parasols will also include a certain bundle of pink velvet, to be made into a sundress for you? :D I also assume that the parasol that needs re-covered won't be in this particular box, as I've yet to come up with fabric for it, cause I'm an eedjit? :/

Also, any of your Bpal imps to be swapped/sold that have notes of lavender or rose, if you could make notes of them, I'm likely to be Rather Interested in them.

You rock so hard.
