Hey, local computer-geek types! I don't suppose any of you have a computer sitting around that you're not using anymore (because you upgraded or something)? The parents' computer is dying, and I told Mom I'd ask.

I don't really expect to get a "Yes, I do! Here, take it away!" answer, but hey! It *could* happen.

Thanks for the resume-passing. I had an informational with Cathy B. today. It's not likely to work out for me because they're moving rapidly, but I did tell her if it fell through for any reason to give me a call.

And we talked about you briefly, and the word on the hallway is, you ROCK. They love the fact that you have confidence and conviction. So file this away in your "Pat on the Back" folder. :) :)

It's OK the position won't work out--I'm pretty sure I need to leave here. And it was good to talk to her, I got lots of info. I'm hoping to find something in the neighborhood, so we could still have coffee & lunch and such.
