We'll shoot back holy water like cheap whiskey

 Apparently one of my strategies for self-soothing is planning my Halloween costume so that parts of it can be reused over the years, because honestly, when am I not going to want to dress as a feral-yet-ladylike vampire? 

This means I have five different types of SFX blood now. Including a polyurethane resin that looks like fresh blood even after it dries! The solution to my "I want droplets of blood on this, but regular stage blood is sticky and eventually molders" problem. Tonight I spatter a blouse.
