I went for my chest X-ray and blood draw for labs yesterday, and hoo-boy did that exhaust me. I'd already been having an upswing in whatever is causing this extreme exhaustion and "air hunger" nonsense, but going out and doing those things? I swooned on the couch for the rest of the day and evening. BUT! My results from the X-ray came back already with an all clear, so that's good. Now to wait on the labs.
We hired a writer! I officially have a minion! OHSHIT I HAVE TO DO ALL THE HIRING MANAGER PREP IIIEEEEE! Which I actually feel pretty confident about as long as I don't stop too long to ponder it.
I realized I do indeed have a goal for 2022 (besides "use the fancy notebooks!"), and that is to slowly cull & sell a fair amount of my wardrobe and use the proceeds to replace it with a smaller amount of super high-quality items in mostly natural fibers, with a portion being custom pieces. This is due in part to a friend introducing me to the site LoudBodies, my pining over this shirt and this dress, and realizing that I need to make the shift to less but higher quality. The other part is that I am grimly accepting that, thanks to the pandemic and the safety protocols that I am probably not going to give up, the likelyhood of me leaving the house on a day-to-day basis is slim, so a smaller wardrobe makes sense. My goal is a small amount of mix & match romantigoth/unnerving governess pieces in linen, cotton and cotton twill, rayon, silk velvet, wool, and a handful of stretch velvet dresses. We'll see how it goes.
Of course, this means I need to find the time & energy to cull, take photos, and learn how to sell on Poshmark. Whee.
