I watched Hamilton today. That was a beautifully staged show, a really clever idea, and the performances were great^*. I just wish it had grabbed me the way it did a lot of people.

I mean that sincerely. The whole thing works beautifully, but the songs just kinda slid right off my brain, and I'm not sure why. I'm very glad I watched it, but I don't think I'll end up watching it again. But I'm really happy that Hamilton fans have this chance to see the original cast.





* However, while Lin Manuel Miranda is extremely charismatic, he had the weakest voice of the entire cast, which is a shame.
