Miss Erzabet No Biting had her follow-up appointment at our regular vet clinic. She was not happy about going, but since it's a cats only place, at least there were no dogs.

She's down to 2 daily prescriptions, which can be given at the same time, and they're not going to be ones she's on forever. We'll still have her anti-anxiety med and a bronchial dilator for "as needed".

So far we have tried giving her an empty pill pocket treat, and a ball of the bacon-flavored moldable paste, to see if we can trick her make giving her pills a less stressful process. She thoroughly licked both, but didn't eat them. (Vlad, on the other hand, thinks the bacon-flavored paste is AMAZING.)

All in all, she is doing so much better. I am very relieved.

Productivity checklist:

• Finished the edits on the vampire magic manuscript, handed it back, and am waiting to see if the writer needs any clarification on anything.


• Working right now on the GCS post (an interview!) that I want to publish on Tuesday.


• Did a tiny bit of work on the questions for another GCS interview post.


• Did some collecting of links and images for the next Stereotype Technology GCS post.


• Pinned 5 different embroidered appliques of twining roses (clicky-link!) around half of the back hem of a tailed waistcoat, then took reference photos. Now that I'm satisfied with the placement, I'll trace placement marks, pin the second set of appliques to the other half and trace placement marks, then VERY CAREFULLY start using permanent fabric adhesive attach them. (There is no way I am going to hand sew these. There's no black border to the embroidery, which means I'd need at pink, red, burgundy, and least two different colors of green thread; also, switching between those colors would mean this project would take FOREVER.)


Soooo, productivity? Yay? I am still full of don'wanna, tho'.
