Miss Erzabet No Biting had her follow-up appointment at our regular vet clinic. She was not happy about going, but since it's a cats only place, at least there were no dogs.

She's down to 2 daily prescriptions, which can be given at the same time, and they're not going to be ones she's on forever. We'll still have her anti-anxiety med and a bronchial dilator for "as needed".

So far we have tried giving her an empty pill pocket treat, and a ball of the bacon-flavored moldable paste, to see if we can trick her make giving her pills a less stressful process. She thoroughly licked both, but didn't eat them. (Vlad, on the other hand, thinks the bacon-flavored paste is AMAZING.)

All in all, she is doing so much better. I am very relieved.

Nothing worked with Owen for long, but we had brief success rolling his pills in balls of greasy American cheese, and then rolling those in bonito flakes when he got picky again. (Now we have to put everything in empty capsules and double-team him. Sigh )
