Jedi, The Last

We saw TLJ today, and I was entertained by it. I certainly liked it better than The Force Awakens, but that's due in part to my being super-over J.J. Abrahams and his narrative and cinematographic ticks.

In other news, I am solidly in the light-colored GLITTER eyeshadow with all the mascara mindset right now, which makes doing makeup ridiculously fast. Also, felt tip eyeliner with some sort of stamp on the other end of the pen is Very In Right Now, which means I now have eyeliner pens that come with pre-inked hearts or stars. Apparently if I don't have to freehand those sorts of things, but just tap a stamp onto my cheek, I will wear them all the time.

In other other news, I'm finally digging into the stack of gothic & supernatural romances by Barbara Michaels that Thea gave me a while back, and whee! They're all sorts of fun. Which is what I expected, because Barbara Michaels was also Elizabeth Peters, and I adored (most) of the Amelia Peabody books.

Finally, happy Solstice, everyone. Now the light comes back.
