Well that didn't work

I could have sworn that the long full skirt I put in a dyebath today was made from a poly/cotton knit. So the white part of the b&w stripes should have absorbed color, with the end result being a pale pink & black striped long skirt.

Nope. Jacquard Acid Dye failed me. Once washed, the skirt remains black and white, not pink. Argh.
