Shallow fashion boot coveting

I realize that high heels are not a good choice for me. Even if said high heels are not stillettos, but are almost wedges. Because 4" wedge heels with a 1" platform at the front still would probably cause me to teeter alarmingly, and make my feet hurt.

Does this stop me from coveting The Grand National Corset Boot from Fluevog? No it does not. Cloven-hoof heel! OMG, want want want.

starkeymonster thinks I should go try them on, and see how they feel. I think that way lies madness. But gosh, they're gorgeous boots.

I have this terrible, terrible urge to buy lots of flat-back siam red crystals, and then transform one of my pairs of pointy-toe flats. A new project for Stitch & Bitch nights.

Look, I always wanted to be the Wicked Witch of the West when I grew up, and I think she deserved the damn shoes. They belonged to her sister, after all. So making my own pointy-toe ruby slippers isn't *quite* as crazy as it might sound.
