The mask I've been making for the big gothy masquerade event tomorrow?
It's hot.
It's kinda uncomfortable, after only 10 minutes. I shudder to think how uncomfortable it might be after a couple of hours.
After taking it off, my face feels itchy and like it's about to break out into big red patches.
seeth, seeth, seeth
The whole costume didn't come together the way I had hoped. It just didn't feel ... right. So! Back to the drawing board!
What I might end up wearing:
And whatever sort of elaborate gothy makeup Staxxy and I come up with.
Boy am I glad that I didn't spend hours and hours working on the mask or any other part of the costume. Because I'm already aggrevated enough - if I had put more effort into this only to scrap it, I would be livid.
Hmmmm ...
I wonder if I could get my enormous red velvet dress altered in time. Bet I could, what with Miss Lucinda the trusty body double ...
Okay, off to the sewing machine.

- red lace overdress
- black lace & feather frock coat
- black top hat w/ 12" Venise lace veil
