Yes, I know, I say that a lot.

Yesterday's 2nd phone interview with the consulting firm went well. I think. I've hit that point where I can't tell, really. I have not heard back from the HR person at the Evil Empire about what day my interview with them will be, which means my plans for the rest of this week (and the early part of next week) are, to put it mildly, nebulous. (I know the HR munchkin did get my reply to him, because I sent him a second mail saying "Not trying to be a pest, but sometimes mail is eaten by servers, and I'm paranoid", and he let me know that my mail arrived safely.)

Since my schedule is nebulous, I don't know if I will be going to Goth Night tonight. I would like to, because I feel the need to get my swoop on, but if I suddenly have a job interview tomorrow, I shouldn't go out dancing tonight.

::pokes mail again::

Random tangent: sometime in the near future, I would like to go thrifting at not-my-usual haunts. Maybe south end? Who would be up for an expedition?

(Yes, I'm rambling. Waiting for things does that to me.)

Oh! I need to go thrifting very badly. I'm determined to start updating my wardrobe ASAP. :)

I'd be up for South End Thrifting.

Though, sadly, I think Renton/Burien/Kent would be more productive than South Seattle, as the Sally Ann and Goodwill both sucked last week.

Oh, I meant Renton/Burien/Kent. When I say South End, I mean Not Seattle.

[livejournal.com profile] spygirle says that Gig Harbor is the place to go. It'll take more organizing, but I think we should go there.

You know, my thrift store mojo isn't what it could be, and I'd probably be pushing things budgetwise just going to [livejournal.com profile] icprncs's sale. Don't faint from the surprise, but I think I'll sit this one up.

You know I'd be happy to drive you and Kij around like before.

I was thinking thrifting in *notSeattle* would be a good idea. I have a car and am capable on the weekends or, if this drags out, President's day. :)

I strongly advocate south end thrifting. The thrift stores down around Tacoma and Puyallup are way less picked over for the good stuff than the ones in Seattle. If you're interested in crossing the bridge to Gig Harbor, the Good Will there is the stuff that legends are made of. Gig Harbor is full of people with money who don't tend to buy anything used, so Good Will tends to be full of treasure priced to sell. M $25 silk wedding dress came from there.

I very much want to go to the Gig Harbor Goodwill. Now to stare at the calendar and try to figure out scheduling ...

Depending on the date, I could be up for south-side thrifting. And I'll send inteview vibes your way...
