Thing the First: Could I borrow someone with a car in the very near future to run some errands? The Husband is on a(nother) horrible deadline, and can't be unchained from the easel. I need to go to places like Target, Ross, and Sephora (aaaah, holiday shopping). While I am free during the week, I'm assuming that no one else is. But if someone is willing to brave weekend crowds and drive me places, I'll buy you nibbly food and coffee! EDIT: Hurrah, I have someone to run around with tomorrow! (Thank you, Kij!) But I will keep in mind the rest of you and your kind offers, because I may need to ask this sort of favor again Real Soon Now.)

Thing the Second: If any of you happened to get a bottle of BPAL's (That's Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, for the uninitiated) Beaver Moon and have decided that you really don't want to smell like cupcakes and buttercream frosting, I'll, uh, give it a good home.

Other random things:

- I don't know if I'm going to make it out to Goth Night tonight. It's the last night before the smoking ban takes effect, and I'm a little apprehensive about the clouds of smoke that will be filling the Vogue.

- I hit a milestone w/ my weight-loss. I've lost 20lbs, yay! Now I just need to keep exercising ...

- I'm trying to decide if I want to do one of those 'wish list' posts. Dither, dither, dither.

I can drive you around in an evening or on the weekend, just not Thrusday evening (Narnia pre-screening).

You can ask [livejournal.com profile] staxxy - I'm a good errand-helper.

Sure, I can drive you around, except for this Saturday afternoon (although the morning is just fine).

If I need this sort of errand again in the near future, may I drop you a pleading line? :D

From: [identity profile] dementiana.livejournal.com

I need to go to some of those places too, and if you can't find someone to drive you during the weekdays, you can come with me by bus. :) I'm going to be going this week or next.

Yay! I'm glad you like it! :D

Oh, and if you're interested, I'm still up for a day of crafty things now that I have the ok to be mobile. ;)

I'm available tonight for shopping fun :D

I'm usually free in the evenings anyways...

People are doing wish list posts? They are? I love looking at other people's wish lists to see what I'm missing from my wish list. :)

(I made an order from mark. cosmetics a few days ago, because I love burgundy mascara. Review to follow. I expect to be disappointed, but hey, $5.)

From: [identity profile] cupcake-goth.livejournal.com

There's a couple of wish-list memes going around. I'll probably spend today thinking about it, and then maybe post tomorrow.

$5 mascara is always worth a try-out. Always.

I'm free during the week during the day for the next three days, and then for three days next week.

If you feel like escaping while the rest of the planet is working, let me know.

From: [identity profile] cupcake-goth.livejournal.com

Heh. I may take you up on that for next week, oh yes indeed.

How I wish I had a car...those would be fun errands in present company.

Congratulations on those 20 lbs! That's wonderful.

Oh! I bought a splendid vintage jacket & skirt set the other day. It's heather grey with black buttons; the jacket is snug and has a peplum, the skirt (which has a shell attached) is fairly full with box pleats. The cut and the label obviously suggest 1950's, but the cut of the jacket also reminds me of the 1850's. :) It needs a repair on the seam of the shell (and might be more difficult to get into once I make the repair) but it is pretty darned cool, and the deciding factor was "Would Jilli kill me if I didn't buy this? Yes? All right, then."

Hee! I'm always so tickled when people invoke me to decide if they should by some article of clothing.

Very tiny small world.

Carol Monahan said I should PM you! (God, I hope you remember me!)

You and I have not chatted in YEARS but I just got my HUGE 50 odd BPAL bottle order and am having a decant party on Saturday evening.

Wanna smell all the BPAL Yule scents in one place? I've also got all the DimV. Carol thought you might be interested.

Congrats on the weight loss milestone! I've felt so much better since losing my, uh, 30 pounds... odd how one can lose so much and not have realized it was there.

Go you!
