That The Husband is wonderful. He is possibly the only person on the planet who can convince me that I don't NEED to wear a corset when I go out dancing, and that I look just fine without one.

Shallow Fashion Details

I'm feeling a trifle under the weather, hence the not wanting to wear a corset tonight. My breathing is being a little restricted all on its own right now, thankyouverymuch.

1. black hoop skirt


2. black enormous 14 yard skirt o' doom


3. black "witchy" dress - handkerchief hem, square bell sleeves, velvet moon & stars on the bodice


4. hair up in spiky buns


5. sparkly white eyeshadow, black liquid liner, black & glow-in-the-dark eyelashes, black lipstick, and black nails w/ glow-in-the-dark tips

achooo!

Now I just have to go take some more decongestants, then actually PUT ON the above-described makeup. And remember not to slouch at all this evening. Posture, posture, posture!

So, re: the tiered crepe de chine skirt. I'm thinking I want to get it at matinee length in black, natch. My question is, is it too ruffly for me? (Knowing me.) I don't mind the volume at all, it's just whether it would look fluffy on me that I'm wondering about.

Sorry you're not feeling good. It may be that moving around a little will help with that.

The Husband was right about another thing - I do dance differently when I'm not corseted. I'm much more bendy and swoopy. This might make me be willing to be uncorseted at the club a little more often.

re: Stax's question #2 - one of the black lace bras of fabulousness from Marks&Spencers, what else? I really need to check and see if they offer them on their website, because they are the best bras ever.

I think the moving around (a lot!) last night did help force the cold through my system a bit faster. I'm still all congested and feel loopy, but not as much as I have the past few days.

Oh, and the GitD eyelashes? Yes indeedy, they DO glow in the dark. It has to be completely dark, but my goodness do they glow! And under black light too. I think I'll need to buy a few more packets, just to make sure I have enough to last me all year. Time to hit the W&W Halloween makeup displays everywhere!

ah yes, all the other Fred Meyers were saying they are releasing that product on the 1st of September, and not before. So it is *only* in Greenwood that we might purchase them early...
