The email I just got from the recruiter:
"Your ears must have been ringing because I was planning on touching base
with you today. Unfortunately the news is not good. Although your
interviews went well we decided to move forward with another candidate.
I'm sorry it didn't work out but I am trying to see if I can find
another match for you either in our department or in another group. I
wish I had better news for you.
I want to thank you for taking the time to interview with us and your
continued interest in opportunities at Microsoft. I will certainly keep
in touch and if there is another position that you are interested in,
please let me know so I can refer you to that group."
