Wicked is coming to Seattle, at the Paramount. September 20-26th.

Tickets to Wicked are only available if you subscribe to the "Broadway Series" at the Paramount, wherein you get 1 ticket to the 5 different shows in the series. The other shows? Annie, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, Little Women, and something they haven't announced yet. $370 dollars.

I have *NO* interest in any of the other shows. None.

Why yes, I am annoyed by this.

Why yes, I am going to be calling local ticket agencies to find out if I can buy tickets to just Wicked. I'm sure I'll still have to pay ruinous prices, but I. AM GOING. To see Wicked.

Best of luck, pretty lady. I should love love love to see 'Wicked', having finally read the book at Easter. Sigh.

Portland has the same deal only...if you have ever bought a ticket in the Broadway series they will still send me advance ticket sales notices before the general public. Got my Lion King tickets this way and still found excellent box seats. Its horrific timing with my busy Halloween season to make it to Seattle to see it. If there is any chance of still getting good tickets though..I'd be interested in the FYI too.

Typically they'll only sell the package to start out with way in advance, and then start selling single tickets nearer to the performance dates.

If for some reason that won't be the case, could you buy the cheapest subscription they offer, do something or other with the tickets for the "extra" shows, and then upgrade just the ticket for Wicked?

if you can manage to locate the tickets outside of the package deal, you should organise an outing.
I would like to go :)
