Question for the Seattle peeps

Good places to shop for furniture? Specifically lingerie chests and/or chests of drawers? I don't like anything on the Ikea website, but I need to get two narrow, tall-ish chests of drawers in the very near future. stroppy_baggage would prefer that we don't spend an entire day driving around and looking at furniture, but I suspect we may not be able to avoid it.

alexiarnps, I'm looking at you, especially. Gimme suggestions of furniture shops that won't be ruinously expensive.

There are a couple of places in Ballard that might have what you're looking for at a non-horrendous price. One is All Aboard Second Hand at 6500 3rd NW. The other one might be Marco Polo, 6019 15th NW, but I'm less sure about that one. (I'm reaching back about ten years here.)

There are always garage sales, if you're willing to get up at an ungodly hour on a Saturday. The weather doesn't look too helpful yet.

Coblestone used furniture, downstairs from us. We just got a beautiful antique dresser there for $300. It huge!

Cost Plus and Pier 1 always have tall lingerie dressers, however, they tend to be the draker wood that wouldn't match your existing armoires. Also do searches for CD / DVD or media cabinets. Often these are tall dressers that have measurements that coincide with CD configurations.
